Alamar



Alamar, rated G, follows the story of a young child who visits his father in Mexico and learns the art of fishing.  This beautiful documentary is filled with beautiful scenery and a beautiful depiction of the relationship between a father and his son.  It will play at 10:30 am Saturday, November 6th at the Byrd.


Alamar, relata la historia entre un niño que visita a su padre en Mexico y junto con el aprende el arte de ser pezcador.  Este hermoso documental tiene hermosas escenas y demuestra muy bien la relación entre un padre y su hijo.  La película empezara a las 10:30 de la mañana el Sábado 6 de Noviembre en el Teatro Byrd.

This wonderful Argentinian crime thriller was the winner of the Oscar for Best Foreign Film in 2010.  The film follows a writer and detective who seeks to find closure to a case that haunts him from his past.  Based on Eduardo Sacheli's novel "La Pregunta de Sus Ojos." This movie is a true thriller in every sense of the word. One of the best Argentinian movies ever.
